2016 Corn Annual
The 2016 Corn Annual was a very special project. I interviewed close to 20 individuals with various connections to the corn refining industry. Their thoughts and experiences helped me build a story that resonates and showcases the most important asset of the industry: the people. Social media assets helped the Corn Refiners Association get the word out about the report and key messaging points.

The 2015 Corn Annual focused on international trade. I handled theme development; content management; guest author selection and coordination; ghost writing articles; photo research and collection; statistical research; proofing; editing; and design and layout.
2014 Corn Annual
For many years, I have been responsible for production of the Corn Annual - the flagship publication of the Corn Refiners Association. I handle theme development; content management; guest author selection and coordination; ghost writing articles; photo research and collection; statistical research; proofing; editing; and design and layout. The 2014 report focused on sustainability and global food security.
2013 Corn Annual
The Corn Refiners Association celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. The CRA has an extensive collection of historical photographs that I used in the design. I also wrote most of the content and worked with Senator Grassley's office to shape his guest author piece.
2011 Corn Annual
The 2011 Corn Annual focused on the economic benefits of the wet milling industry to the United States. The design incorporates several photos I took on location during a TV commercial shoot in Illinois. I wrote the foreword and chair's article and worked with Senator Harkin's office on his guest author article.
2009 Corn Annual
We wanted to highlight some of the unique benefits of the corn wet milling industry to rural communities in the 2009 Corn Annual. I researched and wrote articles on environmental stewardship and community leadership as well as the foreword and chair's article. The design utilizes several masked images (before PhotoShop made it easier with the refine edge tool).
